We are pleased to share details of the flagship training, now available online. Developed by Edge Hill University in collaboration with the University of Salford, this evidence-based model is currently utilized in hospitals, schools, and charities to enhance creative group-based mental health practice.
Practitioner Training | 24 & 25 April 2026
This two-day initial training is designed for those with therapy (or related) qualifications who wish to deepen their creative practice. Completion of this course is the first step toward registering as an Arts for the Blues Facilitator
Supervisor Training | 8 & 9 May 2026
For those holding a supervisor’s qualification, the initial facilitator training can be followed by this specialized two-day course to work toward becoming a registered Arts for the Blues Supervisor.
What to Expect
Across these interactive online sessions (10am – 4pm UK time), participants will explore the model in depth through arts-based experiences. The training provides the skills to integrate the model into your own practice or work toward formal registration as a practitioner or supervisor.
These sessions are ideal for arts therapists, psychotherapists, counsellors, and mental health practitioners working in community or wellbeing settings.
